Mrs. Villarroel has been with Regal Home Services for over 12 years. She started as a field nurse and soon became the Corporate Clinical Director. In early 2017 she became the owner and CEO. Her many years of clinical experience include critical care, cardiac care, surgical, rehabilitation, nursing supervisor, Alzheimer’s educator, BLS instructor, First aid instructor and Clinical Director. In addition she is IV certified and specialized in rehabilitation nursing for over 12 years. As President of the company, she manages patient care accounts, collaborates extensively with case managers, maintains close communication with doctors, and provides comprehensive care to patients. She also is actively involved in community health initiatives and various networking communities. Some of those communities being the Broward Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Paula prides herself on being a “hands-on” Registered Nurse frequently visiting patient’s homes to assure they are receiving the service they need. Service is the focus of Regal and we work hard to provide, coordinate and direct the best service possible!
April Woodman, Director of Human Resources
April Woodman has been in the field of Human Resources, Safety & Health for 11 years. She has held various managerial and director positions within HR & Risk Management for the automotive retail industry, including warehousing and sales operations. She is a native of Floridan and has lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1998. Since 2001, April has been responsible for commercial business partner investments. Her responsibility then continued as regional director for the oversight of twelve retail automotive store business locations across the state of Florida. As Human Resources Director for Regal Home Services she helps to coordinate the company’s best practices while maintaining the overall goal of understanding the customer’s needs and aligning our talented staff and other resources towards ultimate customer care. With her business background, focus on employees, and engagement towards customer satisfaction she hopes to help continue grow the business.
Sara Gopsill, RN Administrator
Bernice Seymour, Patient Care Coordinator/Administrator
Bernice was born and raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands where she completed education up to high school. She then went onto college overseas where she received a full scholarship due to her GPA. After obtaining her undergraduate degree she decided to continue her education in the United States where she would graduate from Cornell College with degrees in two different majors. Those being in Business Administration and Spanish where she accomplished this with honors graduating magna cum laude from Cornell College. She has spent the past 11 years working for Regal Home Services. In her free time Bernice enjoys music, singing, decorating and playing board games. She is very much involved with her church, especially decorating and missions.
Arianna Payan, Clerical Assistant
Arianna Payan is a part time clerical assistant for Regal Home Services and on-call personnel for all regions during the weekdays. She is currently in college pursing her Bachelors in Business Administration and plans to work full time with Regal once obtaining her degree.
Anamaria Perez, Patient Care Coordinator
Anamaria Perez was born in Cuba and raised in Florida where she completed her education and attended College majoring in Business Law. Anamaria Perez has 25 years of experience in the Financial and Health care industry with a focus in operations and customer services. Anamaria Perez has been with Regal Home Services since 2011 as a Patient Coordinator.
Laurianne Uhrich-Macdonald, Controller
A recent summa cum laude graduate with a Master’s in Public Health and Hospital Administration and a B.A.Sc. in Health Sciences and Alternative Medicine, Laurianne has more than twenty-five years business administration and accounting experience in public, private, and nonprofit industries. She has volunteered and worked closely with presidents of companies and board members as a liaison to city officials, vendors, and staff in the timely and cost effective successful completion of dozens of projects, initiatives, and programs designed to augment revenue, improve operations, or meet a public need. She was the recipient of 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication to the community and the Broward Cultural Division mission to bring the arts to everyone. In her spare time, she is a mother of 4, grandmother to 3, a beekeeper, artist, poet laureate and author who likes to garden or hike in the Appalachians.
Bettylinn Nephew-Blackwood, Director of Nursing
Prior to moving to the United States, Bettylin lived in Jamaica where she attended and graduated school at Dental Auxiliary School in Jamaica. Upon graduating she worked for the Ministry of Health in Jamaica practicing operative dentistry for 17 years. Then Bettylin moved to the United States, Florida more specifically, where she would further her education obtaining a degree in Nursing from Broward College. Bettylin has been with Regal Home Services for over 10 years where she brings experience in working long-term care, home health, and hospice care. She is the mother of two daughters and in her free time enjoys listening to music, traveling, and cooking!
Daniela Florez, LPN, Supervisor Tri-County Area
Daniela Florez was born in Bogota Colombia and came to the US at the age of 1. Where she was then raised in Broward County Florida. Daniela obtained becoming an LPN and graduated the program as Valedictorian of the 2013 graduating class. Daniela is now enrolled into a private LPN to RN bridge program pursuing her dream to become a Registered Nurse. She has 15 years of overall customer service experience with the last 5 years being devoted to the medical field. Daniela Florez joined Regal in 2013 as a clinical coordinator and has worked her way up the ranks into her current position as the Tri-County supervisor.
Arshy Ahmed. Intake Coordinator
Arshy Ahmed was born and raised in India, where she graduated high school in the top 10% of her class. She moved to South Florida in 1995 to live the American Dream, and provide her children with the most opportunities as possible. She has spent the last 4 years in the medical field, and has recently transitioned to the In-take coordinator for Regal. She began her work with the company in October 2017. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and focusing on her health. What she enjoys the most about Regal Home Services, is her coworkers, and the satisfaction of helping people who are in need.
